上星期的今日（9/10/2015）。0835，窗外下着来到台湾以来的第二场雨。雨滴似秋天的落叶，慢条斯理地落下。雨与人一样，徐徐向前跨步，这是台湾的步调，不急不缓的生活。
在巴士上，我有闪过一幕。接下来的两天我在宿舍啃着7-11买来的面包，完成立志当学霸的梦想。但我却搭上了这辆巴士，启程参加在国立交通大学，国立交通大学（以下简称交大）的僑生的迎新宿营。
两天一夜的营会里，有许多来自不同背景、国度，但都是来到国立交通大学就学的朋友。而我的队里的六位香港侨生与包括我的五位马来西亚侨生，就这样疯疯癫癫的互相认识了。先前一些不愉快的事，也因此被抛在脑后了。
交大也许是个很乏味的大学。它既交通非常不便，也没什么美食，校区与其他三间国立大学：清华大学，台湾大学，成功大学相比使用公寓与皇宫之比，也不浮夸 。但也因为如此，人与人之间见面的机会变多了。每日三餐至少两餐都一起吃，夜晚聚会几乎天天都有。
这四所大学，都有我认识的朋友，但这样的生活步伐或许是交大环境劣势的副产品。
还记得当我抵达新竹的那一日，就感受到了新竹环境因素带来的强风威力。有时孤单的走在路上，突然感受到莫名的推挤感 。到底是风作祟还是来到异乡的差异感，我没去理会。
但现在我认为，在来临的秋冬季与新竹寒风里，也许并没想像中那么寒冷
Time past swiftly without any notice, same goes as the rain falls quietly this morning. It’s already a month since I reach this alien nation, Taiwan. After having my breakfast, my first freshman camp in NCTU (national chiao tung university) follows behind my schedule closely.
There was a flash of regret when I realise I could have use this weekend for more productive work, other than going for this freshman camp. However, things started to change, when I saw my senior presenting the campfire shows (links below), their effort in preparing this camp was undeniable tiring and painful. I used to play with fire when I was young, turning the fire torch isn’t a easy at all.
This was the first autumn and winter seasons I ever encountered in my life, while still so much things to do. However, at least I knew I was never alone.
Last but not least, thanks for all of my senior for preparing this incredible camp for us.
